hatched in '71, studied graphic design and software engineering (but still a dunce in the latter). Love everything GB and movies, music, literature. Cats and Sheep. Armed with a Bamboo Pen & Touch and willing to use it!Guess the good people of deviantart will have to get used to the fact that I report any kind of name calling and anything of the sort immediately and without warning. I have been bullied all my life. I have no problem with critics, positive or negative. I appreciate to be told where I could do something better. But I do NOT IN ANY WAY accept being called names.

Hey buddy let me ask you something? How do you do those amazing "digital paintings"??? How is your process?

I draw them more or less like the 'real ones' (might have to upload some of my earlier rl work if I ever get to take some photos)just with the 'cheaty bit' that of course it's far easier to 'swap' brushes, pencils, and most important of all colours with PS. I usually make a layer with a 'pencil' outline, then some brushy watercoloury bits, and finish off with a crayon or colour pencil layer for more details. That is how I do rl pics too... outline, fill up with brushes, and put finer details on top. Minus the having to wait for the wet layers to dry bit and the hard work of finding the right colours as I just 'steal' them from the photo that I have for reference.

The 'cheaty bit' is that I have of course a photo for reference, and I use that... uhm.. whatsitcalled... thing that makes you chose a colour from a picture) to, well, get the colour.
First I use a 'pencil' brush to make an outline, a layer which I usually delete when the picture is finished. (something which always bothered me with my rl watercolours, as you can't really erase the outline, can you? Smudges things
