I know you must be busy but may i ask what you used to do that demonstration edit of my drawing? Did you just use Photoshop with a paintbrush? (with the effect on darken?) I can't seem to get it like yours... but i extremely liked how it looked and would love to practise with it. Perhaps there is a tutorial or something you know of? Very inspiring *o*
Also if you ever fancy doing an art collab, i'll definitely be up for it

Normally I would just make a video to tell you what I did and link it to you. However my Wacom drivers have all just gone kapoot for some reason. Basically all I did was use the Photoshop Brush (The 4th one on the list from left to right.) It is a hard edge brush that I have grown to like because it feels like I am coloring with markers. Then I set the opacity to something like 20 (As well I turned on pressure sensitive opacity and brush size) and picked a color that felt natural to the piece and then I just went over the areas that needed to be darker a few times. I also use the eye dropper to get light colors that were already in the piece and I blended with them. You will find using the eye dropper to grab colors from the image and doing things with many strokes of low opacity is a very quick way to get the values and hues you want in an image. Then if you want to you can go in with a smudge tool to clean it up. That is just one way though, there are hundreds of ways to do use photoshop and don't ever limit yourself to one. Play with it and have fun, and then practice practice practice. It is the only way to get better. As well just look at the world and when you don't have a computer or paper draw things in your mind. Look at things for how you actually look and just have fun with it.

They didn't tell me that there was a limit to how much I could have in loans until earlier this month and I haven't been able to come up with a means of getting any money. No money = no degree. So I am out of the running. Good luck though! I hope you don't have the same problem.

Can't complain! Just had a game day with friends. All of us sitting around a table with our laptops playing Diablo 3, eating food, and having fun. Good day!

My laptop wont run D3, but is more of a notebook than a laptop so that is to be expected.

Yeah, it's a bit of a resource hog. :[ We had the same problem with one of our friends, he had to actually bring his desktop tower and we put a monitor and a keyboard at the end of the table for him lol.

I have done nothing at all in UDK. I haven't had a class that requires it and I know nothing about it at all.

Oh fun! I am excited to see them. I really enjoy the industrial myself as well as the post apocalyptic. Though I think that the apocalypse needs more plants than how it is normally depicted.
