Not an issue. Question what type of colored pencil are you using? IE hard or soft like Prismacolor verithin or?

i use Derwent Drawing, coloursoft, and harder Faber Castell pencils for the details, they don't sell prismas in europe.

Shadow Knight is coming along nicely. Just don't forget atmospheric elements for distance. Like the volcano is competing with the lava that is in the foreground.

I think that it is cool and a good concept. I feel a little lost on what your selling points are in the painting. One trick that I have learned which really helps when doing illustrations is never/rarely us solid black or white. This is in regards to the reflection of the armor from that distance. I hope that helped
