I know what you mean! Wow.. what is that place?

I'd say my work is motivated by certain ideals about flow, pattern, aesthetics etc. and that it stems from a wanting to express these perfect, abstract mental concepts. It's like the forms I see in my imagination are metaphorical for my emotions.

Do you ever feel like you 'unlock hidden truths' about yourself when you make art?

I see a lot of things in my dreams and my imagination that I want to try and portray. Feelings and emotions and concepts that can't exist elsewhere. If I can conceive of something, or see something in my mind's eye then I want to be able to draw it. Impossible shapes and spirals and objects that wouldn't work in reality, that sort of thing.

For me it's about having fun whilst you make something, and not necessarily trying to achieve something. Just trying things and seeing what feels right.

I don't even know what yumblr is but those first 2 images you've posted are great! I fancy I sometimes use a similar style but always much smaller. You have very awesome skills to be able to draw that stuff at A4 and such.
