X3 Thank you!! I just looked at your armor tutorial.. I can't believe that's model magic!! It totally looks like it was like craftfoam/wonderflex!! You had me fooled!! I tried craft foam armor for the first time this summer. XD That was a little intimidating.. XD

Haha, that's awesome to know that it looks like wonderflex! Model Magic is not as strong as Wonderflex but it still has some pretty cool advantages over other materials. And making any kind of armor for the first time can be intimidating. I think craft foam is one of the most commonly used materials to make armor out of but it still takes time understanding the limitations and benefits of it. Just like a lot of different sculpting materials, the more you work with it, the easier it gets.

Yeah, I don't really promote myself so I tend to fly under the radar. I'd love to get myself out there more but I'm afraid of looking like I want attention or something. I'm not in it for that, I just want to share my contributions to cosplay and art. But it's really flattering when someone notices my stuff and tells me it's inspiring.

You know, I was kicking around making an Orhla costume but I wasn't sure if anyone would even remember/recognize her compared to the other CC characters. I have a few other costumes I'm making right now but I /might/ end up making her next year.

Hey now, there's nothing wrong with wanting to be noticed! Even I wouldn't mind some more attention, save for the fact that I don't feel any of my work here fleshes out my abilities to their extent possible. I guess that just means I'm not one hundred percent satisfied with how it expresses itself to the reader.

She's one of my favorite characters from Chrono Cross. Whenever I make a female character in any game that uses their fists I name her Orhla. She is a more obscure character, yeah. But for some reason, also one of the most memorable to me. (Compared to say, Korcha.)

Anyways, if you decide to do Orhla I would be most thrilled. Seeing some of my favorite characters from such an old game brought to life is very nice indeed. (Especially cause it means other people paid attention to, and even enjoyed some of the same stuff I did all those years ago!)

Wow, you really do like Orlha! A few people have been coming to me the past couple of days about making CC costumes so I might have to take the idea more seriously.

I really liked CC and it was a somewhat overlooked game at the time. I played it just after finishing FF7 so it was such a breath of fresh air. It was such a good game but so many other big titles came out that I think people didn't notice it. It deserves a lot more attention than it got.

And it can be frustrating getting your work under the nose of people, even when you know it's excellent work. I make art for myself and I realize that other people just may not appreciate it or understand it the way I do. I could make art that would be appealing to other people but then I wouldn't be true to myself. :/

CC was a game that did, and continues to inspire me. I played it back in 2000 when I was 9 years old. The game considerably broadened my horizons of perception and understanding from young age. To it, I am most thankful.

And yes, Orlha was always a favorite of mine. (Though I didn't use her too much back in the day...)

It's good that you choose to stick to your own path. I believe that, in the end, it will only make you appeal to people more, because most everyone loves ingenuity! Besides that, I think the greatest works of art appeals to everyone. Not because they're made to do so, but because they contain unavoidable truths that even the dishonest must recognize, even if only for a brief moment.

My enthusiasm will meet my ability one day, perhaps sooner than even I would expect. So shall the same come to you, if only you keep doing what earns your passion and ignites your creativity.
