your art aint that bad,just need to start putting some backgrounds,maybe more details like shadings or even try experimenting with digital colouring..youll see those lil things could add more personality to your artwork..(of course) ongoing practice..that will help to define your style little by little..so dont rush to be a huge artist work your way man..relax..n enjoy ..it took me a few years for me to gain lots of knowledge and im still looking foward to work on my skills..but practice is the key..there many wonderfull artists in here that makes u wanna quit lol (i felt that way some years ago when i came here too) but i guess the more u learn of each and everyone the better youll get..its a matter of time. cheers!

Thanks, most 'experienced' deviants here rarely respond to us newbies. I'm using photoshop CS and I'll soon activate my CS3 applications. I'm still trying to figure things out, but hopefully I'll come up with my own techniques.

hehe yeah same happened to me 4 years ago..(and simetimes still) not getting respond from others above me..but i guess thats just a part of it..that way you work your ass growing up as an artist doing things the hard way..learning from here n there..the most important thing is to always come with fresh stuff on your artwork never try copy others styles...(experiment thechniques n mixing styles from others good influences..but never clone artists 100%.good luck on your way and keep it going' man cheers
