I saw in a comment that you're a Clopin cosplayer and can pull off his crazy accent. Do you have any tips for doing the accent? I've never been able to quite place it. It's like...French with British inflections, or maybe British with French inflections.

It's mostly French, but with a sort of Russian undertone to it. Or at least that's how I try to do it. I try to imitate him from the movie the best I can and not worry about pinning the wheres of the accent. He's a gypsy; I assume he's traveled most of Europe.

I know it's best to just carefully listen to the source material (Paul Kandel's voice acting) but your observation about the "Russian undertone" is honestly helpful, because once you said that, I picked up on little patterns and nuances I hadn't before.

Yes, I can see how that would be helpful. I don't know if the not-French undertones were intentional on Kandel's part, but I myself didn't really GET his voice until I started thinking of gypsies as world travelers. Then it was only a matter of trying out different nuances until I found the undertones I was looking for. Russian/Ukrainian/Slavic seemed to fit best.

If I wanted to be cruel I would tell you to draw ChiraβNara, but her eviro-suit has so many tiny details on it and it would kill your hands. Ever tried drawing a machine? It's a pain in the ass! That rules out Reishi with her prosthetic legs. Yuurei's easy, but she has baggy clothes and folds are also a pain in the ass. I suppose the easiest one to draw would be Zenmyo, my Ouran OC. She's small and delicate with long, willowy limbs, has a round-cheeked face that makes her head seem a little big for her body, and large, prominent ears. Large dark green eyes and choppily cut brown hair that is always constantly messy with pale, freckled skin. Wears giant, circular glasses.

Her outfit is usually covered with oil stains, but the colored parts are usually a dark blue. She's a salvager(goes to old abandoned starship wrecks and takes what she can use) and usually carries a pistol and a shotgun on her to kill unwanted wildlife or other looters. The shotgun is slung across her back and the pistol attached to her hip.
