Hey, I got a new account, yeah I was there on Wednesday, and yes we did get rinsed. I would use the excuse that over half of our boat were J16s and the others had been sweeping for a few weeks, but then half of the Oratory boat was also comprised of J16 rowers so I wont. We were just beaten by a better crew at the end of the day, but I have to say your cox did make us laugh in his blazer and tie, whereas our cox was wearing trackies and was wearing a hoodie before the race. Anyways, it was a good experience, I have learnt not to like Henley, as it is too conservative and traditional. It was fun where we stayed though, nice town.

No, we didnt qualify. We came like third last or something. Didnt you have some South African coach??? We had Ian Watson who used to row for GB as a lightweight, but he's gone to Cambridge to coach somewhere there. He just left after Nat schools but he was cool.
Anyway, for our school, we do VIIIs for a most of the year after small boats are over, we do good in head races because of our technique, but because we havent got enough power, we do really shit at regattas. But me and some other guy came second in a pair at Nat schools, it was jokes because it was our 7th time in it (2 of those times were last year on the easter camp)

Hang on, if you were in the 1st VIII last year, that means that we beat you in Henley qualifiers. No offence, but we had 4 seniors in our boat, and me along with 3 others were J15s.

on my picture a warrior. I used photoshop artistic tools, such as cutout, where it makes the picture look like a painting. and I do digital brush strokes to make it look even more realistic.
