I've been working with colour more than B&W these past years, but I want to come up with monochrome/contrast compositions again, I just haven't had the right ideas yet. The white/red/black combination is a long-time favourite of mine.

I didn't have time to check Emion in more depth yesterday, but I'll revisit it a little later, it looks interesting (and I have a soft spot for ESP anyway).

(Those things take so much time, huh. Or maybe it's just me. I'm uber slow in completing my own stories, and when I do, I realise I stupidly wrote them in French, and have to translate. XD)

I write in my native language as well, so when it's done it needs translation too. For me it beats writing in English though, as it's not my first language and I'm considerably more skilled in my native language and therefore better able to express my ideas. It does mean I'll probably need a third party translator to help me out, but that's for another time. For now I mostly focus on the actual writing part.
As for being slow... I'm not slow. It's just a big story XD

I've switched to English in the past year or so, living in the UK now there's not much point in trying to get anything published (either traditionally or self, in ebook) here in another language. But it's true that some things come to me easier in my mother tongueβthough some others come easier in English, so I assume this means I've also reached a level of fluency that does allow me to write stories that are at the very lelast 'readable' in terms of grammar and vocabulary. ^^
(Are you doing NaNoWriMo, by chance? I plan on keeping on working on some of my writing in November, as I'll also be on holidays. NaNo always makes me more productive because of the 30 days deadline.)
