Your welcome!My friend and I LOVE JGR/JSR! Though JSRF on XBox is a hell of a lot easier to play then JSR on DS.

I was mostly looking at how people have cosplay Yo-yo and Beat from JSRF but how can I not fav someone playing as Beat. Their my friend and mine favourite characters. That and me and my friend want to cosply as Beat and Yoyo this year for anime conventions this year. I'll be Yoyo and she'll be Beat from JSRF.

Only we want to get our costumes as accuret as possable so I've been doing my homework and figuring out the best way I can do something, like creating the Skates. I think them and Beats head-phones will be the worst bits.

Yeah, there's some tricky stuff. We took a few liberties with our costumes, in part because the costumes change from game to game anyway, so there's no definite. (Although, really, both Gum and Beat turned out surprisingly better than I thought they would... Didn't have enough time to give Tab the same attention.) We ended up not doing the skates mostly because we weren't sure if they concert venue would make us take them off anyway. And Beat's glasses were a fun trick. I think they worked nicely for a 2-dollar pair of thrift store sunglasses and acrylic.

You say you played the Xbox and DS (as in GBA, I assume, being played on a DS ) versions, but you're actually missing out on the best one. If you can manage to find someone with a Dreamcast, they're likely to own the original Jet Set Radio - that's the one you want to be playing. The Xbox one's cool and all, but it's not nearly as good as the first.

I'm glad my Beat's costume could be a help to the homework! If you can remember to think of me when you complete your costumes, I'd love to see how they turn out!

Yeah, I keep hearing of people being worried about the skates... I plan to ask the people in an e-mail when its closer to the date. Its sad though that you never did the skates though, it woud have completed it.

Yeah.. In the end, I think we were all a bit more at ease during the evening, though. Makes life a lot easier to not wear skates if you're not used to wearing skates. I did have this brilliant idea for a while that I'd make cardboard versions of the skates that we could wear over our shoes and then have the wheels be down on the side of our normal shoes. Not bad, right? But then I realized 1) I didn't have much time, 2) that'd be quite a bit of work, and 3) it might just end up looking silly..

That's funny - I actually ran across the same video when I was doing my own homework!

I figured you had to have known, but I mentioned it just in case, y'know? If your computer's up to snuff, you could always try emulating it. I'd guess that emulation's not illegal if the thing you're downloading can't be bought anymore...

It sounds interestng but I an't quite visurlise it. Its a good Idea though but also complicated and wou;dn't the cardboard be to flimsy even if it was a really thick cardboard. Just my toughts.

*sigh* Fine. That seems silly, though. I mean, if there is no way that a copyright-owning company can gain revenue from its intellectual property, then I don't really see what the big deal is. If the company decides to rerelease the original game somewhere else, then I'd think "Now we can't play it until we buy the available one." Don't get me wrong - I downloaded Rez once and loved it so much I had to purchase my own copy, but what with it not being sold anymore at the time, I had to drop $70 (ie. more than the game cost when it was first released) for a used version, which did no good to the amazing folks who made the game. Later on RezHD was released for Xbox Live Arcade, and I was sure to buy a copy for a friend's system. For me, it's a matter of the money reaching the hands of the people responsible for producing the product I'm enjoying. (Sorry about the semi-rant... heh.. )
