It's been a mixed bag. My fathers emotional state has deteriorated since his mother was hospitalized for bowel cancer, he's even more of an ass than he was before. And all the shite that goes with that. And school is rather stressful, I'm really cramming my accelerated Bio12 course right now; I gotta do a unit every 2 days. Plus I'm trying to get some sort of social life; romance is complicated, especially given I don't have a job right now... Everything's sorta chaotic right now.

I apologize that you've been having such a hard time. I understand how it is to have family who goes through intense medical issues..My mother herself is ill a lot and we've lost a lot family to health conditions. As for Bio12 that's ridiculous I don't know how you manage it..are you graduating this year? As for social life it would be kind of nice if all of us from Central met up sometime. Maybe it's cause I'm not usually the dating type but why does having money really matter?

Well, I can direct you to a store. But if you don't have moolah' that's an issue. If you had the ability to get to the Royal Oak skytrain-ish area on Fridays I could teach you and you could use one of my decks (I have too many).

Noted, Thanks! I can't promise I'd be able to though. Once I figure out a way to get change I'd go wherever. They don't have like an online game by any chance do they? The whole reason I got into Yugioh was specifically cause there was a free flash site where you could play others even if you didn't have the cards. Which kind of made things easier if you haven't gotten into the game yet but want to. You have a lot of decks? That's funny I thought they were beyond expensive.

They can be very expensive. I mean you can build cheap decks, but even a cheap one will run you 50-100$. I've amassed a gigantic collection over the years though, which means I can trade for hard to get stuff. Also I'm now a tournament judge. I get paid in cards to judge tournaments. Plus I've won a few tournaments which always pays out at least 50$ worth of stuff. There IS a way to play for free, but it's complicated, it used to be easy but due to legal trouble it's gone underground. If you want to look into it it's called Cockatrice. But you'd be hard pressed to get it working.

It just would be nice if the company offered something for people wanting to get into the game without spending a whole lot of crash before they even know how to play.

Yeah it's rather lame. The company has an online version, but you still have to pay for it. Which is lame and a half. But hey I guess that's how companies work? You could always try the demo of the Duals of the Planeswalkers game from Steam. It's magic in a videogame that teaches you how to play.

So I woke up this morning realizing that I did no math homework for today and I was trying to come up with a plausible excuse not to go to school today but I couldn't think of anything so finally when 8 rolled around I had to really rush to get ready. I tried doing a barrel roll out of my bed but ended up smashing my face into the night stand and when I was laying on the floor in agony I could feel all this blood pouring out of my face/nose. Went to the doctor and he gave me these strips instead of stitches and diagnosed me with a mild concussion.
