I suppose I will, if I have the time. I do recall, however, that Karsh was found to have lied or otherwise been mistaken regarding several paraphrases from the book "Fabricating Israeli History." He wrote as if Golda Meir denied having an agreement with King Abdullah of Jordan when it fact she explicitly admitted to such an agreement.

Either way, I'll read the book and see for myself. Thanks for the time.

Not true? Look at census data from the British Mandate, or from other sources like the League of Nations or Ottoman Empire. The Palestinian population was anywhere from around 350,000 around the 19th century to almost 1.5 million by the time Israel was declared a state. Anywhere from 85% to 94% of the population was Arab up until the migration of Jews increased following World War II (and for good reason).

A number of sources sir. Research by Alexander Scholch, Ottoman census data studied by Justin McCarthy, the League of Nation's Interim Report on the Civil Administration of Palestine (1920), and the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine (1948).

For accuracy's sake, I should mention that the last census of the region, conducted by UNSCP, found that 69% of population was Arab(which included Bedouin). I was vague towards the end of my previous statement.
