Yeah I find watercolours hard to use too, even though its my favourite medium.
What I've found best is to never see a painting as a failure - if it goes 'wrong' then hey its just a step learning how NOT to paint something lol, and the larger the mistake, the harder I'll try to avoid it next time, so the more I'll improve (in theory aha) :) (Smile) I'm talking like I'm an expert lol, but I honestly think even the best watercolour artists out there still mostly see their mistakes as its in recognising their mistakes that they can improve - and I thought your sea turtle painting was really good, so you can't be completely failing! ;) (Wink)

lol yeah, suppose I just need a little more patience whilst I practice. >.<

and thanks ^.^ Though the sea turtle was done with copic markers... I found those easier for me to pick up as I have more control over the colors and where they go than I feel like I do with with watercolors. Really I kinda just like using a lot of different mediums lol, there are so many fun effects each brings.

I really like them. I find them pretty intuitive (though I have watched probably a million videos on youtube for them...). They're pretty expensive to start though. I'd suggest picking up the sketch ver. whenever you decide to start using them, the brush tip is super helpful for blending.
