You lowered your head. You knew. You had bumped into the top student of the third-years at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. Well, to be more precise, he had bumped into you. But of course, you, as a student of the degraded Class E, had no right to argue.
“I’m sorr—” you broke off as the boy grabbed you by the collar of your uniform, dragging you towards him.

Bakugou Katsuki hated Midoriya Izuku. He hated being in the same class as a quirkless, powerless nobody. He hated seeing him trying so hard for something he could never achieve. Bakugou listened again. Midoriya (First Name) was your name. Then that meant that you had to be that loser’s sister.

You closed your eyes, listening to the sound of chirping crickets, and waited.
As if on cue, you heard the usual soft tap against your window before it slid open. A tall, light brown haired male slipped through and landed quietly on the ground beside you before he silently closed the window.
“You’re late” you said, turning your head to look at him.

Jean’s hand gripped your wrist with a crushing force and dragged you along to the outside of the mess hall.
As soon as you were out of earshot of the other cadets, Jean roughly released you.
There was silence for a few moments.
“(Name)” Jean said slowly, “what…” he took a step closer, “was that?”
It made sense that he was angry. After all, you had just declared that you, who were qualified to join the Military Police, would be going to the Survey Corps.
