Doing Good. X3 been Away from DA and Things for a Long time. Trying to learn More on Becoming a Manga Artist ^^ ...... - @ But idk where to Begin. I have the books to teach me, but also not trying to get Frustrated too.

uhh manga artist is not easy, the market is really full... you have to focus on whatpart of "being a manga artist" you want to be. like ink, pencils, our own comic, baloon artist... since it's not an easy market to get in you got to have a good plan

^^ oh and one more thing. When you post your Art, Do you sometimes get worried that someone will comments something negative about your drawings especially from a fandom that you have nostalgic on? .3.

to be totally honest I learned that if it's not a constructive criticism is not even worth to start a fight on.
I kindly answer (as far as possible and only sometimes) back asking how I could make it better in the other person eyes, but I just ask to calm the person down.
If people decide to comment under my drawing just to start a fight I'm not up to play their games so I ignore them and if needed I delete the comment. I do not want any negative feeling around my stuff.
does it hurt? yes, I never like hard criticism just cause people want to spread hate, but... people will always be mean if they can, sadly that's how the majority of the people like to act on the internet, and we're not exactly bullet proof so any negative comment will always leave a scratch on us... but hey, we learn from that and learn to ignore that kind of people.
I'd rather have 20 good followers then 2000000 mean followers, no matter their reasons

You can ask your friends and family too but sometimes people you know tend not to point out the mistakes thinking that knowing you did something wrong makes you sad. But, for example, my friends and I always outline each others mistakes to improve, maybe one of them have a better solution then mine ^^
