Long story short, everything had been off for a while, but my body had adjusted so I never noticed. One night, I finally pulled too hard working and it just went downhill from there. Embarrassed the missus greatly at the chiropractor when I loudly questioned if she knew why my hip was so far out of alignment. Always fun. :3

Overall, it only hurt when any pressure was put on my back, or rather just sitting down. It took a lot of rest and laying in one position for like a month. Not bad, but kind of boring. It's also amazing how infuriating it is that you can't just fucking sit down when you want to. I just stayed in bed and played NES games one after another. Made a rule that I couldn't touch a new game until I finished the old one. :P

More than I thought I would actually. All 3 Castlevanias (although I lied, I didn't finish 3 because fuck me running, that game is impossible), Contra and Super C, every single Megaman, both Zeldas, Gradius, Lifeforce, the first Ninja Gaiden (somehow, I'm still dumbstruck I pulled that off) and all 3 Marios.

There was also plenty of Galaga, but the only way to technically "beat" that is to somehow make it level 255 causing the game to freeze. I'm good, but not that good. Personal best is still level 36. There was Battletoads in there somewhere too, but that doesn't count since nobody beats Battletoads. Ever. Especially two-player. That game is marriage poison.

I have no idea why, but I'm currently playing LA Noire. This game has taught me much that I didn't know. For instance, are you aware that crashing your car into a crimsecene is bad? Also, it is totally unacceptable for an officer of the law to drive through a hobocamp and run over two or three homeless people in the process. You learn something new everyday.
