germans deny alot of ww2 they are kinda almost embarrassed of it . it kinda sucks that they had bad motives cause they made alot of things like the first belistics missile wich helped us create nasa for space missions they made the first assault rifle the stg44 the first automatic pistol the c96 the first submachine gun(not sure wat it was) im almost certain they made one of the first tanks as well they were smart people with bad motives

Well it was probably because everyone who didnt bend to Hitler's will and follow him, was accused of being a traitor to the country and was put in a konzentrationslager to experience a slow and painful death... So I guess most people simply went for the easier way and obeyed the law.
