ehm nope, not really. i think you're using photoshop, mine is illustrator
because i'm having difficulties using the pen tool in PS *^*

yiiissss i hope you can make a tutorial or video on how you make those awesome things
but of course that's if you're comfortable with it or if you're not busy *^*

hmm I don't use the pen tool at all xD I have no clue how to use that thing
I don't really have tutorials but there are some speed vids I made :v maybe you can see from there how I do it xD
basically just select something and then draw in the selection with brush tool
XD I can't really explain more than that -- since thats all there is to it? :v

It really helped! Haha i've been trying to figure this out before xD

I did those in another program called Adobe Illustrator. They're vectors and i made them using the pen tool there (similar to the one in photoshop but easier to use and more customizable) ^^ yes i think it's kind of similar but you're style is more tedious, i think, because you still need to paint over the selection. In illustrator, they're just basically like shapes put together. I really like you're style because it's not just limited to solid colors and i like the paint brush effects too *v*

haha yes its quite a bit of work but I like colour variation in the shapes ^^
you could also just use solids but that gives a different effect
(and if you look at other stuff I make I tend to try more painterly stuff lately so yeah ^^)

Hmm I;ve been wanting to learn illustrator but didn't really get to that yet :s meep~ just like ps -- too many options xD

xD its not a style a lot of people will probably enjoy to do (because of the tediousness)-- but I'm just becoming a lasso nerd now B)

Yes.. that is also one of the things i want to try *v*  i like works with
a touch of "traditional" look in them *w* may i ask what brushes you use?    

illustrator is just more on vectors, logo designs i think.. but i see some who are also
good in drawing there like this one

hmm xD I mostly use pretty basic brushes but they're from all over the brushpacks :v
for coloration of lassos and just general painting I use a round brush that blends quite nicely if pressed softly :v
So I I just colour them with that brush first by pressing hard (fills to 100%)
and then shade with the same brush pressing softer xD

or I use a supertextured brush like in EXA its really regulated over the amount you press on the brush how much the effects will show xD kinda trial and error-- but basically it works the same as without texture

hmmmrr that really doesnt look vectory *3* very well done~

and merp xD remember the skill is not in the brushes
your hand+imaginationss is the magic weapon B)

oh and i also have a grainy airbrush :v which i just use for things that need airbrushing like glow effects
