Favorite bands / musical artists: Guthrie govan, Joe satriani, Steve vai, John Petrucci, Jimi Hendrix,Eric Clapton,Iron maiden,Metallica,D.T,Poets of the fall and some songs of Guns and roses.I mostly love soft melodic type of music than death metal :)
Favorite books: Tons of them. :) Harrison's internal medicine,Greenfield's surgery,Kumar and clark Medicine,Goodman and Gillman Pharmacology,Robbin's pathology and Gray's anatomy in my field.Besides,Tons of books in literatures I love.I love story books too a lot
Favorite writers: Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay,Rabindranath Tagore,Saratchandra Chattyopadhyay and lots of other bengali writers as well as English authors
Favorite games: Dark Souls,Skyrim,Batman Arkham city and asylum,Crysis series (specially 1) And Dragon age for its story :)
Favorite gaming platform: PC
Tools of the Trade: I mostly use India-made Camlin paint and hand made cheap paper or Low priced Ivory paper (!0 full sheet for $2!!!) mostly.I also have Daler rowney artist's watercolor and langton prestige paper.
Other Interests: Guitar,Music and MEDICAL SCIENCE!!!
# About me
A 28 years old male. I am doctor by profession and my field of interest is general surgery and intensive care. I love to paint in my spare times. I have been painting from my childhood and also has some qualifications in fine arts but I am no professional artist.I just love to paint and so I do. My paintings are simple and speak for themselves. I mostly use watercolor as my medium but occasionally I use oil or graphite media too. If you find my work interesting, I will be deeply happy. if any at all.... I DO need to improve but on what....

there is a lot of ground to improve in the field of paintings for everyone of us... for watercolors..the primary things are (as to me)
1.Color mixing without making mud
2.Fast yet precise Brush work
3.Controlling the amount of water and color in a desired proportion
4.Maintaining transparency
5.Ability to lay a good wash etc.
rest are as applicable as in other mediums

What do you mean by "ability to lay a good wash, etc"?
The fast yet precise brush work is a challenge for me to do...
It seems to me that I have to think things through in doing
a watercolor painting. I have the composition laid out and then
when I begin, I don't think as much. I'm doing better, just
takes a ton of practice.
