Yeah that's what happens with older cars. I fixed one problem myself and then another thing went wrong that I couldn't fix. All right before Christmas....

Oi, I know what that's like. Me and my dad fixed our jeep up by ourselves most of the time. Last thing I remember was taking most of the front end off to put the radiator in.

Oh then we're about the same since it was my cooling system that was bad! I changed the thermostat which worked for a few days and then the water pump that was really the issue finally went out and it was something that I couldn't do myself.

Oh, sucks. My dad hates going to someone else (He's got some real stubborn pride) so if something goes wrong, he'll buy the parts to fix it, even if he, say, doesn't actually know how to put it in.

Well it was the water pump and the timing belt which is kind of specialized so I didn't want to risk it. And I needed the car and couldn't speed the days it would take me alone.
