Haha. xD Long messages are my speciality.
I do actually. I swear by this website, and will do from now until the end of time. xD (So I'm probably a bit biased for this website) but YesJapan is my all time favourite.

Another website I have particularly found useful is Genki Japan . It's not exactly the best for learning, because you can't get far with Genki Japan, however, the songs are memorable and addictive, and you can learn some pretty decent stuff.

Now, I can't really comment a lot on NihongoUp , but from what I have used so far, what they teach you is awesome ass stuff!

Those are my 3 favourite, and I always say are the best. A lot of people swear by JapanesePod101, however, my experience with them hasn't been the best. To me it seems as if they're only interested in you cash, and your account only lasts 7 days, while on YesJapan, your free account stays free forever, but you have to pay for furthers lessons, and the same goes for NihongoUp. The problem is, learning a language isn't free, and you have to pay money one way or another to get any decent learning. (With my group #ILoveJapanese I'm hoping to turn that around. ^^)

I took a look at your page, and notice you have a lot of Kanji used in you journal entry. I don't want this to come across as rude or anything, but did you use a translator for that, or are you that much of a champion in Japanese? o3o xD
If you are a beginner then if you like, maybe we could exchange MSN or Skype addresses and I could teach you what I have already learnt through YesJapan to save you from buying a membership or their books. However, I do advise investing in their books, they're bloody good! And that way we could learning together~ >u< I'm not expert in Japanese unfortunately, but very enthusiastic about the language. >w<

yes i was using google translate. haha i only kno one kanji symbol. and ofc its the one meaning ai which is love.
errr i dnt hav a skype or msn i hope to get a sype soon. id hav to convince my mom.

Google Translate is pretty baad! The more you learn Japanese the more you will see all the faults in Google. It's okay for the occasional word, but anything more, nothing really makes any sense.
I translated your sentence back into Google translate, and yeeeeah, you ca see some of their lame ass mistakes. xD
私はそう今日は退屈です。 That entire sentence could be shortened to 退屈！ （たいくつ） I don't know if you can read Kana, so the romanji for that is "taikutsu"

Yes, I understand your parents being nervous. The only person my Mum trusts me to talk on skype via call is this Japanese teacher from Canada. I'm not sure if my parents would let me call you, but I do know they'd be perfectly fine with just typing.
