I'd consider the request if I'm interested in the subject too. If it's someone I don't know or don't like, then I would most likely refuse to do it.

lol.. I have nothing against twilight fanart. It's just overload from seeing too much fanart of it since the first twilight movie came out. I'm sure there'll be even more coming up with this second movie.

i agree, twilight's not the worst thing i've ever seen. i just don't get the hype, that's all. it's not the worst, but it's not the best either, in my opinion. book was definitely better (I've read 4 or 5 of the books in the series, actually. Library e-books!). The wolves were supposed to be nude when they shapeshift back to human form, but too bad they took that out in the movie! LOL That would've kept me awake!

I tend to skim through boring parts of novels too, so who knows, maybe my overactive imagination added some juicy bits like nude werewolves in there just to make it more enjoyable? LOL I think there were parts where they mentioned the shapeshifting process, but I don't know which book in the series that was in. Maybe it was the second book (new moon)?

Movies always seem to pale in comparison to the books. That's why I usually prefer reading the book over watching the movie/tv adaptation of it.

BUT im a terrible reader, as in i watch arashi videos while reading so instead of focusing on te book, my mind is thinking "Nino is so hawtt <3"

Wow, awards! Hey, if you can do it then, you can still do it now.
Maybe it's just a matter of finding the right medium, style and subject that would interest you.
Mine was the reverse of your situation. I hated art when I was a kid. My classmates used to laugh at my drawings and make fun of my work. Most kids in my school were good in drawing. I was barely passing in my art classes.
It wasn't until I was 14, when we learned to draw 3D drawings in pencil that I realized I can draw (not amazing, but well enough that I can recognize it had potential). Shocked the heck out of me! LOL Apparently, realism is more my thing than the creative stuff we had to do in elementary school.
I drew a lot when I was in high school, but I stopped for 10 years and then picked it up again a few years ago. Interestingly enough, when I picked it up after that long break, instead of being rusty at it, my drawings were so much better and showed more maturity.

I'm sure you can draw. I find that most people say they can't draw, but they just get frustrated too easily. Drawing just needs patience, that's all. If you keep working on it, you'll get better at it.
You should check out this book called "Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain". It's a bit rambling, but it shows people that they can draw -- they just need to train their brain to see things the way artists do. They've got before and after pictures of drawings done by folks who did the workshops and the improvement is simply amazing! I bought the book a while back out of curiosity because many people swear by it. It was interesting.
I know, 10 years was quite a long time. I myself was surprised that I improved instead of getting rusty at it.
