Thanks for the compliment, but I don't know. I see more and more 3d printed sculpture now and it is getting better and better.
I have learnt it the old way, creating and feeling a sculpture in the real world. I have triedΒ something with z-brush, but it was nothing for me. First of all, I was not good at it, and second it was a too abstract world for me, I couldn't feel the forms.
I think in the future, apart from some revivalist sculptors who want to get their hands dirty, most sculptures will be 3d printed.
Why not, just a change of medium, it's the result that counts.

I think you're right about the emergence of 3d sculpture.
You should try again and again on Zbrush and go beyond the abstract .
Don't expect to beΒ immediatly good at using those kind of tools... it takes time,Β like any other tools..
