I appreciate being able to share a conversation with you that didn't become an argument. I appreciate that everyone has a right to their own opinion and that we could discuss what we did. I was not fortunate enough to reply before commenting was banned, so i will post on here. I see your points and they are valid points. The bible, though, was not written by God, but by man. And what is chosen to go into the bible and be excluded is man and the church. Jesus himself never said anything against homosexuality nor do the ten commandments the most important of laws actually written and proclaimed by God himself. I feel that the only mention of homosexuality being a sin is by man. That's all I really wanted to say and i felt the need to share with you my opinion. Thank you

no sorry, that wasnt clear of me, i know that the bible was written by men, but i believe that those men were inspired by God so in essence it is God's word. i agree also with your point about what is a part and what is excluded, but the main contents that were excluded were from the new testament, whereas all the original commandments are mainly the old testament, in the Pentateuch, all of which was included in the bible and while i understand your point about the 10 commandments, i reject your comment that they are the most important of the laws, they were simply the first 10 given by God and the founding of a covenant between God and the Israelites, God later gave them the remaining 600-and-something commandments, in these other commandments homosexuality is mentioned as a sin. in the new testament Jesus, when asked which were the greatest commandments of all stated the 1st of the 10 commandments (love the Lord your God) and another of the commandments given later (love your neighbour as yourself) which is not one of the 10 commandments, showing in fact, that the 10 commandments are not the greatest commandments for Christians to follow. that's the end of my arguement too, ive really enjoyed this discussion, and i appreciate and respect your opinion, and also it's been interesting because you actually do know quite a lot about the bible and church history which is good, because normally people who argue about religion havent a clue about the religion which they're arguing about, yet go on as if they do, whereas you actually do seem to have an understanding

Thanks! I enjoyed the conversation. I find it funny when people argue about things they don't really know about. (I am also a dancer and find that many dance critics have not a CLUE about dance) Anywho. It was nice to have a discussion without it being an argument
