Ah I've tried it once with a friend I have from deviantart. It was kinda fun actually

2 layers is only big enough for a under drawing and a lineart layer for me. I then color everything separately and shades and highlights are all on different layers XD There's so many that I can't keep track of them lol

I usually merge them (when I'm done with them) because there is so many xD

I leave them because you never know when you're gonna be unsatisfied with a part of the picture and decide to change it later lol
