My girlfriend and I are doing these costumes! [link] I'm the one in Yellow. So far I've had to hand-stencil fabric, make my own rope, punch nearly 2,000 holes in craft foam, and make awful bear shoes. It's gonna be fun. We've got about a week left.

I prefer Sage as is my 'title' or 'Voseyu' to 'Ben' myself. But I will not squabble over it. Do you visit NoBrand.Con often? I have a friend who goes there every year. So you actually have a role at No Brand. I had a feeling that was the case. I glanced through your art very quickly and found a couple posters for No Brand. I suppose my love of writing continues into my obsession over names. And my obsession over names continued into my collection of foreign languages dictionaries. That led me to pursuing foreign language and discovering how much of a natural talent I seem to have with it. Pebbles on a mountainside, right? :) (Smile) But it does bother me at times when I receive comments about how people think that 'Sage' is a first name and 'Voseyu' is a last name. Apparently, 'Sage' is a girl's first name among certain circles. I am surprised that more people have never heard of the role of sage, whether in traditional history or in games like the Final Fantasy series. I still need to play those games sometime. Having friends who won't shut up about it isn't quite the same experience. ;) (Wink) Thanks also for the link to your 'comrade' at No Brand Con. I will check that page when I get the chance. I am working on a new poem this week... my most complex yet. That and I have a bake sale this weekend and shots for my kittens tomorrow. Just the thought makes me sad for some reason. :( (Sad) I don't wanna hurt my babies. ;) (Wink)
