Hello :)My name is Katja.
I was born in 1983, in the city enlaced by lattice openwork of palaces and places, by drizzle from Baltic sea that settles on hair, and by white nights that tie up around chest and make a heart jump out to freedom... In St Petersburg.
My parents are a classic product of the Pedagogical University. And I am a natural product of the two teachers’ education. But honestly, I don’t mind. I really like what became of me.
When I was a child, I liked very much to draw big-eared bears. But, as strange as it might seem, this fact is not my artistic career beginning. It’s just in opposite. In the art club I was criticized for drawing my bears not by the rules so badly, that I stopped to draw at all. And I didn’t draw for a long time.
It would be exaggeration to say that I choose to be psychologist to understand my unexplained fear to the bears. I just like psychology. But in reality those bears didn’t let me go so easily neither.
While staying at home with my first child I started to loose my mind from doing nothing, so suddenly I found myself drawing again. Little by little I dropped into it and now there is nothing than can stop me. Nothing! Even the bears!
In the process of the non-stop creating I suddenly realized, that somehow I gave a birth to my other son. He grows up twice faster than my first one. Paradox.
My husband works outside the country, so he is almost always away, and it gives me a possibility to create twice more things. In other words, my second son and the quantity of my creations grow in the strict proportion.
How do I find a time for everything? I don’t know. But I think that I love life so much, that it presented me two more hours in the day. As a bonus.
And – Yes! – I do love cats. Without this fact my bio wouldn’t be complete
