Haha, cute isn't bad, but your stuff is badass, which is so much better. I mostly use classic sculpey, which is the softest stuff you've ever worked with, but cheap. However, I've abruptly obtained a huge collection of Sculpey III in every color, so I've been trying the colored clay thing as opposed to painting.

I adore your Gimli sculpt, by the way. Once it was painted, it was incredible. I found it while searching Gimli and Gloin art. I was having major Hobbit feels and wanted to see what people have done with them together, but I came across your sculpture and loved it :]

Thanks a lot I still have problems with my picture taking on the sculpts. The proportions always looks all... woggley and wrong, like they're too short or whatever. Like the WoW figure i did for a friend actually looks much better and proportionally accurate in person than in the pictures. I think i need to set up a booth or something.
Anyway, I too am a LotR and Hobbit fan and once I can get some more clay I'd like to do some more of the dwarves and maybe a goblin or two. Have you tried using super sculpy and/or super sculpy firm? It's the bee's knees. I use a lot of it and do some mixing with sculpy III too.

That's a good idea :3 I'm too lazy to take proper pictures myself. I just don't feel like making a photo box so I never do. I figure once I get better and if people take an interest in my stuff I'll get off my ass, hehe.

You should make Thorin. That would be so awesome. He's so brilliant and I'm sure you'd do him such justice. I'd be so jealous :3 

I haven't, but I also don't do serious detailed stuff like you. Firm clay is kind of my foe, honestly. I just cannot sculpt properly and I'm way too critical for my own good. I have a highly developed artist's eye but no ability, so I'm the sort that always gets frustrated and quits early in because I just can't do it and all the errors make me want to pull out my hair. I do intend to try more serious sculpting eventually though. For now, it's cutesy stuff, unfortunately. I need practice.

Though I do plan on making Thorin's belt buckle out of clay eventually

Thank you so much! Oh yeah, I will be doing much more Upheaval. For the last year I've been working alot more than usual and trying to buy a house, so "hectic" would be an understatement, but as soon as I have some time to devote, I will be Updating again... hopefully more regularly

And yes, I demand more Upheaval as well! There are so many projects, and unfortunatly the one project I love the most, (Upheaval) tends to always get the worst treatment. But I have an update in theworks and have been working on getting caught back up
