ohey I also forgot to say; I'm kind of curious as to where exactly this is going. I mean, sure it can be a fleshed out story of Pokemon and the adventures of Charmander or whatever but... what else is there to bring to the table? You didn't have me completely hooked... Just a question but, why start at the beginning?

And wouldn't Charmander feel terrible about beating Squirtle up? But maybe that's just my preference for drama, drama and more drama.

First, this is basically the plot of Blue/Red/Green/FR/LG told in the POV of the mons and not the humans, like it is in the games. Not anime-based, but game-based. There will be more complications and such, but this is just an innocent beginning. Consider it kind of like a prologue.

As for Char not feeling horrible about it, well, they're young and silly, and don't realize what it's like to really beat each other up - yet. They look at this as a friendly practice fight to get them ready to go outside. Once they both go on their adventures with their respective trainers, they'll learn that life outside the ball is tough.

Don't worry. Drama will ensue soon enough. But for now, we're just in the first couple of Towns, Routes and places, meaning that everything is young, new and unaware of the bigger world. We'll get there.
