I have 5 weeks of geometry this summer. I want to earn high school credits ahead of time. The class is quite easy, and I get 10 credits for it. Plus, there are cute guys in summer school. xD

Oh, the economy is currently in the toilet(you probably knew that already) so the schools here have a budget cut. The classes are shorter, meaning we have more time for breaks and vacation!

Uhm.. well I already know that we have this different school system. We work in levels, you have 3 of them.. there's this huge article about it on wikipedia, in English, because it's hard to explain xD

And uhm, do you guys have only 3-4 subjects in your last year of high school?

Budget cut is worse here. We barely had any school trips this year when a few years ago, we would have 1-2 every month. We have a bigger class because other schools are closing and their students are coming to our school.

In the US, we have have grade school (Kindergarden to 5th grade), middle school (6-8th grade), and high school (9-12th grade)
Usually in high school, we have 6 periods, 4 are for subjects, 1 is for break, and the other is for club I guess.
I barely graduated from middle school so I don't know how it works yet.

Seriously? I only had 2 school trips in the whole year. And these are just excursions ._. In the 4th grade of Highschool you can go to a city.. like Paris or London or Istanbul, for a week. I did that last year..

Well here, you go to primary school when you're 4. It's from grade 1 to 8. So till your 12th age. Then you go to high school.. how many years depends on your level. Vmbo is 4 years, havo is 5 years and vwo is 6 years. So from your 12~13th till 16~17~18th age. You can only go to university when you did vwo. You go to "hbo" with havo and "mbo" with vmbo. If you finished hbo you can go to university but if you did mbo and you want to go to university, you first have to do hbo.. bladibla... XD

Trips are usually to educational places like museums and last for a day. My middle school have a 4 days trip to the capital of the country but it costs around $2500...only 5 students could afford it (it took them 3 years to raise that money). I despise the suckish economy right now. -_-'

The countries in Europe are close together, so it's easier to travel.

Most public high school in the area sucks (bad teachers and environment) so I'm gonna attend a charter school (prison)
I love my middle school, sometimes I wished I was held back.

I thought it was one of the fashion capitals of the world. Even the name sounds exotic! xD

I would love to play prison break in the future.
I live in the East side of the city, where it is known for its bad environment. My neighborhood is pretty nice except for a few drunks every now and then. I don't like it when my neighbors get drunk and sing karaoke late at night when I have school the next day. I wouldn't mind if they have a good singing voice, but they don't!
