# About me
When I was toddler age, I loved coloring books like any other toddler. I colored them to the best of my abilities until I got bored with them or ran of the pages to color. There are only so many pages with Pluto (Disney) or the Power Rangers in the same positions, right? As a result of that boredom, I'd trace over pages that I previously colored. I don't remember why exactly, maybe to get a sense of what each looked like or just to have more "pages" to color.Anyway, as I got older, that tracing turned to drawing. I had gotten enough visual information from some of the cartoon characters that I traced that I could now draw them on my own. If not on my own, then I'd always search online for reference images (pissing my parents off with the amount of ink it took to print some of them out). The shows I watched, the comics I read, if I loved the character, I most likely tried my hand at drawing them (always had a borderline obsession with Sonic characters).
Fast forward to high school, I decided to finally take traditional art classes. I touched on a variety of things during that time: drawing, sketching, painting, list goes on. I went into college taking similar courses, getting a degree in Digital Art in the process. By then, I didn't really draw so much in my free time. Life can throw a lot of distractions your way when you grow up. When I got out of college, I freaked out about jobs and life just like any other twentysomething straight of college with a degree and NO experience.
I got the idea that I was going to start a portfolio page, learning Photoshop, Illustrator and any other relevant program along the way. Little did I know that I delve back into drawing cartoon/comic characters like I did before. This time, all of those art classes that I took before had benefitted me in ways that I really didn't expect. So here I am right now, not exactly a professional but doing what I love whenever I can and despite life's occasional curveballs. Time will only tell where this may or may not lead......
