NOW AT NAPHOTOGALLERY.COMM My name is Nathan and I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe NV/CA. I've been practicing photo and film for over 6 years now and have taken multiple classes all of which include developing my own work. This is not the fancy gallery that has amazing colors and contrast only created by photoshop or some other photo editor. Due to a recent association with Jarvis photography I now have access to Digital equipment.. along with all the basic and complex techniques of photography... the only editing done on my photos is basic touch ups each of which are practical in the dark room(not including recent portraits which are retouched based on the market's demand). I hope you enjoy my photos, they incorporate my emotions, thoughts and perceptions.. thanks for checking out my page, now it's time to check out my photos, enjoy and please comments and critique is welcome.. thanks :)~nathan~

how do you get your film photos on to deviant art? do you use a film scanner or do you print large format copies and then scan them in? thank you

My film is developed at the store then i purchase prints as well as a JPEG CD with all my photos on them, I am not sure but I would assume that at the store they scan the film to their computers

There is no requirement for image quality or resolution size that I am aware of and have been uploading my deviations in this manner for over 2 years.. art can be appreciated in all sizes

haha, no worries over time you will get used to it and improve on everything, just set some goals and shoot all the time, you can try some slow shudder shots too, do you use an editing program at all?

no i don't use an editing program. Yeah i am going to go oout today though...I live one a lake and there are lots of woods and shit like that. I am going to see if i cant find any cool mushrooms or something there are usually a lot when its wet out. The Picture of that blue flower is probably my favorite one.
