Hey, thanks for the kind comment! I was wondering; with your sketch work, like the one the angel (higher), what equipment you use for colouring? I've only just started adding colour to my sketches and I'm using water based crayons but I was to experiment with different stuff

well for that one I used colored pencils and added the background digitally. I have tried like pastels and other stuff, but I think I get the most flexibility with pencils, so I use them most of the time... oor I go straight to digital

Sorry to ask a lot of questions but I'm eager to learn: Do you shade in pencil and add colour on top or do you create shadows using shades of colour alone?

Yeah I get that, with the next piece I'll try it without pencil shade and see if it comes out any better - what do you mean by inking the sketches? As in going over it with a drip-pen?

yeah just tracing the lines, so you can erase the pencil away. doesn't have to be anything fancy, fine line pen or just plain old ballpoint. I like the ballpoints actually cause it behaves the most like pencil
