Um...it's different...but kinda cool. It's like FB...but specifically for arty and creative type. I uploaded a picture and within 5 minutes 2 people had "favourited" it. I was like WTF?!
Having said that though, I had a look through some of the "photogrpahy" that other people have uploaded...and it makes me sick. Like, literally. It really pisses me off that someone just buys an expensive camera and then takes some blurry photos and calls it arty...then calls themselves a photographer.

Well everyone has to start somewhere. The thing about DA is there's almost always someone worse than you and someone better than you, so there's probably heaps of people looking at your work and calling you a noob too.

And I'm hoping that those people that are calling me a noob will actually tell me what I can do or how I can make my work better.

And that is the other thing about DA - mostly you'll just get faves and a couple of one word comments, unless you ask for critiques. And even then only if you're lucky. You need to actually make friends with people who will give such critiques and give them back to really get much more than ego stroking out of it.
