Admittedly, I loved the character design for Covenant, but the original Shadow Hearts is still mah #1, because Yuri is INSANE in it, and I love it. XD In Covenant he kind of... goes normal or something. And I guess normal is okay, but I don't have as much love for Covenant as the other SH's.

I've never played the first one, but I sat and watched Jeff play through Covenant and 3... surprisingly, 3 DOES have some good stuff buried in there underneath "Shania is an offensive bitch." Sigh.

I didn't like Karin, and I heard that Alice was awful in the original game, but my only experience with Alice has been through Covenant, so I like her well enough. She's sweet, and Yuri is crazy about her, and that's good enough for me.

Yes! Especially Frank with his random swords. Oh, and Killer and Lady are my faves x a million. But yeah, Shania being a bitch + the fact that her clothes come off every time you transform, it's kind of like, "errr".

But YES geeking out over video games! I have an XBox, Wii, and 2 PS2's (one Japanese, one American) at my place, and we should totes play lots of games 8D.

Most of the artists I know either go to CMU or Melon - we have a sketch group here where I am, and I think that would be a sweet idea to start in Pittsburgh.

Haha, oh no, I'm too late. Actually I'm not going to Melon. I've graduated from SCAD in Georgia and moved to the Burgh with my boyfriend, who got a job at Pitt. I'm desperately trying to reconnect with other artists and college clubs seemed the best place to start (since I know no one here and haven't yet talked anyone into hiring me). So when I searched for Melon art clubs, I found the forum and the DA gallery thread there

*nod* I definitely know where you're coming from. I had to move in with my folks, and they had just moved to this part of Texas, so I new nobody. Actually, from a newcomer to a newcomer, meetup.com is a good place to start. There might be some art/drawing circles around the Burgh that you'll find there.

That said, the people at Melon would probably like it if you showed up and said hey. I'm biased, because I'm the founder and all, but hey! I can vouch for them, they're good people.
