Sorry for the random comment, but I was browsing profiles and galleries, and I came across your page. I read your interests and was excited to see that you're a Palahniuk fan! If you don't mind me asking, what's your favorite book?

Wonderful choices there! He is such a distinctive writer! Have you read RANT: An Oral Biography of Buster Casey?
What was your first Palahniuk novel?

Palahniuk has the ability to bring charm, philosophy, and vulgarity into the same breath of literature. One minute [in the GUTS segment of HAUNTED] a kid narrowly escapes an embarrassing death that is almost comical, and the next moment: "And now, he'll never be a lawyer." I laughed, I cringed, and I fell in love.
As for RANT, I waa on board until the surprise reveal of them having ports in the back of their heads. But after I grasped that, the rest of the book left me intrigued and feeling intelligent (despite the fact that Palahniuk's work might point out the ridiculousness of one claiming intelligence based on their ability to parrot someone.)
FIGHT CLUB was my first as well. The book has a few details that the movie lacked, but the movie had a better delivery.
I've only read Invisible Monsters once, but it was good. The cover art caught my attention before I even knew it was Palahniuk's work.
I plan to get a copy of Stranger than Fiction. I Haven't read it yet.

heβs such a talented writer. he was actually the author that got me into writing. his way of conveying emotions and portraying scenes is honestly incredible. i wanted to create that feeling too.
im still working on finishing haunted, but the way he strung together different stories from different perspectives had me in awe. guts was definitely an interesting part, haha.
invisible monsters had me in tears multiple times, then laughing hysterically moments after. the remix was really interesting, and i missed a few chapters the first time i read it, haha.
he was the first (and probably only real) lgbt author i ever got into, which was another thing i loved. in popular media, you rarely see gay (or any other lgbt people) authors get really successful. but palahniuk is definitely pretty successful (especially in regards to fight club), which honestly made me feel like i could go somewhere in my writing.
he just holds a really special place in my heart, and probably always will
