# About me

Time to change my profile blurb, especially since I noticed the atrocious grammar in it.

I am a hobbyist who is actively working to get better. I want to learn portraiture and just generally improve my skills. I used to "do art" back in the day, but let a bad teacher and my inner critic convince me it was pointless.
So I am never going to be Rembrandt. I can live with that. I just want to be the best artist I can be.

And art supplies are cheaper than a therapist :)

That's the truth. I am still plugging away with the practice. So many "toys" so little time (ink, water colors, pencils of every variety). I might never get "good" but I will have fun trying.

Thanks very much. I keep plugging away. I read somewhere you need to produce 10,000 bad drawings before you start producing really goods one. LOL, I have a few thousand "bad" ones left, but I am enjoying the process.
