# About me

Being a self-taught artist, I am continuously studying the theories and techniques of oil painting from the old to present day masters.

Although I always seem drawn to classical painting and employ traditional techniques, my work is not defined by any particular style.

When I sit in front of the ever-daunting blank canvas I am reminded that art is a rare entity that can stimulate both heart and mind.

I try to portray this warmth and fragile beauty in my paintings and from there my work continues to develop and evolve.

Every great once in a while, when trolling through the countless Anime and notebook sketches that are posted, one comes across a gem. Your work really caught my eye. I love your affinity toward the classical. I too am self taught and tend toward that style. Very 'Dutch Masters'.  I loved your gallery. I will be very happy to be one of your watchers.
