dude most of us actively DISCOURAGED people sending her threats. we just wanted her to apologize and make amends for the harm she caused, especially as a popular artist with influence of a large group of people, especially children.

harm?? really?? what harm?? you mean that bogus list of receipts that those underaged kids that made the blog did?? I saw all of them and it just looked like a bunch of little kids that had nothing better to do that to bring someone down. If it was to "make her apologize" as you say, then there's a more respectful and professional way you could have done it, instead of acting like a mob and constantly putting her down. Now look what's happened; the people that made the receipts thing on tumblr ran off with they're tail between they're legs and shut the blog down instead of manning up and facing they're problems. Instead of keeping the blog up and admitting that they were wrong and letting everyone know that they shouldn't have did what they did, they ran away and changed they're names (and one of them got arrested). I was always taught that if you have criticism with someone, then you step up and be professional about what you want to say. Β
and I really don't want to hear that thing about how big of an influence she has over kids. nothing she did negatively influenced kids, and if it did (like the fluttershy thing) she took it down immediately. But you guys berating her over stuff that was meaningless (like the gems having races, or her not drawing garnet's fusion with an afro; which btw, actually stereotypes African Americans anyway, since NOT FUCKING ALL OF US HAVE AFRO'S) was wrong. Or then thing where she drew rose skinny/not super fat. It wasn't fat shaming; I can actually look past that and see that it was styled well; it was harassment with people sending her messages to take it down. Maybe next time, instead of looking on some tumblr page for a reason to hate, you should do something more professional like look through the things she's drawn and give a helpful and well thought out critique. That's how adults and professionals handle things. They don't get all they're followers or become a mob and attack someone for they're artistic input. Β
