Okay, I look forward to reading the entire collection.

I know you say that the Eden series entries are rough drafts in the author's comments section, so I was wondering how open you are to any constructive criticism on them at this point. I know my personal concentration is in poetry and lyricism, but I've gotten plenty of practice at proofing and editing with college papers. Anything I may give is purely opinionary.

Hello! My name is Meriah. Nice to meet you. What is your name?
I am very open to constructive critasim and would welcome any help I can get. There are only a few dozen or so mistakes here and there that I plan to go through and fix later in the original manuscript. Thanks to my busness English class I have a better understanding of grammar and punctuation which I use to my best advantage when writing. I also will go through and fix anything the spell checker missed and do some plot fixes so everyting sounds better and to make sure all the "facts" line up and make sense. I would have done so before I submitted my book here, but I am a medical student and my time is very limited. I figured the little mistakes left over from my last run through were not to bad so I thought it would be fun to submit my work anyway in spite of them. I thought it would be a nice way to gain a test audience and get some honest opinions. I don't expect everyone will like it, but that's the way art is and I will not be offended if I run into some people that don't like my work. But so far I have gotten nothing but complements,especially on my stories, so I must be doing something right. Eden Symbiotic is actually my first real attempt at fiction writing and I had been working on it off and on since I was 17. It took me quite a lot of trial and error but eventually I managed to get the plot right.
I have a parshal fantasy story posted here called Unexpected Cargo that I am slowly working on as well when I can find the time. You are welcome to read that one too and make comments. It too is mostly a rough draft, but I have gone though the chapters before I posted them and did my best to correct any mistakes. Not an easy thing to do with my time restrictions.
Your honest opinions will be both helpful and informative as far as I am conserned.
I used to write poetry in my twenties, then I mostly out grew it and quit. But I keep them in my journal, seems like a good idea to save them. - Meriah
