Aww thanks! Yup, they are pencils. What you do is start with a darker soft pencil and keep your marking tight, keep layering using harder pencils so you make sure all the gaps in the paper are filled in. Smooth paper helps a lot

Lol. I can't help being late all the time. It's really bad. I get so many responses and what not that it's hard to keep up, plus I'm usually pretty busy. And I sometimes I like to take my time responding so I can think about how I want to reply.
