Hi Ben, thanks for faving the "Bleak House..." photograph. Perhaps not my favourite submission and certainly not the cheeriest landscape I've captured but I did like recreating the effect of an old vintage post card. I clearly remember equally unwelcoming views on cards, with slightly distorted colour tones and browned edges, outside seaside shops when I was a kid...

It was a lovely shot of a magnificent bird. It's been re-introduced here in Ireland a couple of years back, specifically in Co. Wicklow where it's population is still going strong.
