Thank you so much for the fave x3
( I really like your stories x3 Mine tend to stop after 5 pages so I'm not really good at catching the readers interest.... but you are ^^ )

your welcome, um I'm not sure if you have seen the message yet but you have inspired me to write up a story about shining time station, but I am not sure on whether to have it being restored or have it still operational. It's called 'Shining Sodor'

I did see it, but I wasn't quite sure how to respond to it.
Whatever you decide, though, it should be something that you know you are going to stick with. I stopped writing Shining Time because I lost interest in it, and I had no idea where to go with what I had. I vaguely remember having a hard time on what to do with restoring the old station, and it led way to more stuck parts than easy flowing paragraphs. It all depends on what you want to do, how you want to set the mood, and how you feel the story should go.

to be honest I make it up as i go sometimes, but when I think of a certain part I tend to write it down then figure out how to get to that part, and with this story I want to make a point to people along with inspiring them, problem is there have been times where I think over the top and make mistakes, plus because this is something that is somewhat set in the US it will be difficult considering I know nothing about the state (no disrespect intended to anyone there).

I usually write my stuff like that too.
And don't worry, I also barely know anything about the US, and I live there. (I'm about fifteen minutes away from the Mason-Dixon line , leaving Maryland into Pennsylvania.) I can tell you that from experience, if you have a fairly good inkling of locations and landmarks, you could still be able to convince writers that they are in that location. For Shining Time, I would look more into the Strasburg Rail Road , as most live action shots for Thomas and the Magic Railroad (as I've come to know it, it may have a different name in Britain) were filmed there. It might not be much, but it would be a good starting point in the feel of the atmosphere around the station, and the folks that live in the area.

thanks, that's a big help, oh and the movie is still the same in UK (there is no uk version for the movie only US), and honestly I have never been good when it comes to setting an atmosphere or background, I have a tendency to just through the reader right in and let them imagine the scenery them self (I do tend to set the season though if needed) also I have nearly finished the introduction for the story so if your interested I will let you know when i put it up.
