You seem to have given up your artwork, Johnathan. Last post was 2014.
Here are some references and materials I've collected. I've worked from them and found all very helpful. There are more resources and links on my profile page. The key is to practice daily. Just enjoy yourself . . . and drive yourself crazy, too. lol. Right now that's what I'm doing (driving myself crazy) with comic book layouts. Little by little.
QUICK PICKS Updated 20 March 2018.
I salvaged the Quick Picks from the widget on my profile page and placed them in this literature post just to make sure that if something happens (i.e. like I give up core membership) you'll still have access to them - and so will I. LOL. These are books I'm always recommending, headed by what may be the most important of them, The NATURAL WAY TO DRAW. A good many more resources including articles, 3D models, anatomy plates and art education material may be found at http://www.ingetang.com/praxis/ I highly recommend exploring the site-map. Note that I am updating the lists with new books and materials all the time, so check back periodically.

That was while I was taking Introduction to Drawing while I was in college. I had always intended to take more classes, but I wound up having to drop out to support my family. I seem to keep making excuses, but really should get back to drawing, even if it's only 5 minutes a day. Thanks for the comment.

Like anything else, if you approach it regularly with graduated drills you'll progress. Even five minutes of timed gesture drawing doing one-minute poses, if done on a regular basis, will lead to improvement. The trick is showing up for class! But with internet sessions at posemaniacs, com and Croquis Cafe, and such, it's just a matter of logging in.

Actually, I am not a Whovian in that I don't watch Dr. Who. The I posted the Alignment Chart after finding it on the internet somewhere and posting it to a friend's Google+ wall.
I have been considering to start watching the show, but with all of the plates I have spinning in the air, I don't have the time for it at the moment. (Hell, I have little time for other shows that I have already watched and like).
