I've been DYING to draw my boi Senato again for weeks but I can't figure out what exactly to draw of him. He's my most gory/ violent character if you can believe that. Out of all the children I have, this little boy is the WORST. But he's not crazy- he's stoic and quiet. He's just vengeful, putting it lightly, after his murder.
This little fuck:
I NEED VIOLENCE AND BLOOD TO DRAW, DAVE. EITHER HELP ME COME UP WITH AN IDEA FOR THIS KID OR GIVE ME SOMETHING INVOLVING THE RP I NEED THIS-

He doesn't smile in the slightest. He doesn't cry, he doesn't scowl, his face is always blank though he may narrow his eyes if his victim is eluding him.

okay i feel that. the first thing i thought of was like, someone sewing a person back together? or like operating on a person with just a pleasant smile on their face
but if he never smiles ever ever ever then that same concept would be pretty gnarly with just a straight face too
OR you could do Senato like breaking someone's leg's like fuckin hobbling someone with no expression at all (i just winced so hard joints and knees and knuckles gross me out to the max)

Senato and his mother were killed. He discovered his mother's body ground up in a bag in the basement before he was captured himself.
I actually have his story in a shortΒ document but it's not done yet. What's sad is that it was the night of his 6th birthday this happened.
When he was captured, he was taken apart awake and alive, his limbs and teeth carefully removed by the strange men who killed his mother. They wanted his and his mother'sΒ bones to try toΒ make faux ivory to pay his father's debt to them. The men hated this kid for being his father's son and brutallyΒ tortured him until he eventually finally died- though it took awhile.
Senato is technically a poltergeist. A tangible spirit. But he's more solid than that. His fear and pain and grief allowed him to force himself into a further existence. He can be touched. He can be heard. He can be cut and hit. The beads he wears are what was made from his mother's bones. Senato has absolutely no mercy. He cannot be reasoned with. If he's decided to harm you, you cannot convince him otherwise. He doesn't hesitate. But it doesn't mean he'll KILL you.
One example of what he did to someone was a couple years agoΒ a character who kept talking and the things he was saying bothered Senato. So after a little while things got quiet and when the others went to check on that character they found him attached to the wall with nails through the flesh of his arms, legs, ears, face torn enough so the cheeks could be nailed to the wall, too. Nails in his groin and eyeballs. Arms and legs snapped backwards. A nail in each lung. Scalped.Β The word "shhh" written beside him in a child's handwriting.
Although! In one RP, there was ONE character someone had years ago named Kenny who actually managed to figure out how to satiate Senato. Senato just wants his mother. But he's never been able to find her. Kenny managed to find Senato's old house and his mother's remains. I forget how he managed to solve the house's puzzles but he found his mother's photo and showed it to him.
I think we both cried when we were writing that part of the RP cuz Senato-Β who hadn't spoken the entire time- finally whispering "mommy..." as the tears run down his cheeks and all that-

what needed to be done was for Senato to accept her death. When he found her remains he was in denial. This wasn't her. He wouldn't believe it was. And in death he was still trying to protect her. He hurts people because he's afraid. He never could see the faces of his killers so they could be anyone. He has to get rid of them before they hurt Mommy. But over the years, he lost sight of his mission and hurt people for the sake of hurting them.
Seeing her picture again forced him to remember why he was what he was. Remember who he was fighting for. Everything came rushing back to him. And all he could do was cry for her all over again. It'd been so many years. It was time for him to accept that Mommy was gone. Kenny managed to convince him that she had been waiting for him for so long. That she missed him just as much as Senato missed her.
And as Senato realized this, the front door of the house opened and his mother came in, donned in her sundress and hat, dirt on her knees from her garden just how she would come home in the summertime. She gave Senato a smile and asked him like any other day that summer of his birthday if he would like to help her in her garden.
Giving Senato a gentle kiss on the forehead,Β Kenny softly told him "goΒ with Mommy..."
Senato stood there a moment then rushed to her, hugging her waist and sobbing. His mother wiped his tears and took his hand, squeezing it tight as she said "Let's go see Daddy."
And together they walk out of the house and disappear.
