Glassi know there used to be many days
when you felt worthless or like a failure
i dont know how much they still haunt you
i guess as recently as yesterday
i struggle with that too sometimes
and many others as well
though its not something to broadcast on facebook
nor a reason to look forward to an emergency room
your burden may be heavier than what i know
its not right its not fair
and maybe i will never fully understand
for that i am sorry
we cant help what we feel
we judge ourselves based on how others judge us
maybe we learned from them too well
its hard not to learn german
when everyone talks to you in german
its hard not to feel like a failure
when everyone tells you you ve failed
we live and we learn
a blessing and a curse
especially if we are taught the wrong things
the voices of society are hard to shake
i wish i could teach you that you are worthy
in a way that you couldnt shake
but what is one voice against a media and education system
that churns out slaves for the establishmentΒ
