Hey my name's Aurelien, just here on deviant art for pleasure.
I'm a drummer and composer and play a bit other instruments like guitar or piano.
I'm sometimes trying to put my compositions on a Pc music project instead of playing in a band, sometimes the opposite.
But i can't do only this, i need to express myself with other media so that's why i'm here!

Thank you! Not a lot of people like what i do, so it's really appreciated! But sometimes i got some really interesting and creative people to give me feedback, support and the most important meaning to my work.
I'm not really talented in traditional or digital art, i am in fact a musician. I never had an art course, my drawings are disasters (really XD) and my digital deviations full of imperfections, but i hope that it has something that makes it true : originality and meaning.

I really like your expression! It is so different and so personal ( I mean full of meaning, uncommon). You can't tell you are not talented, because you are. Sometimes it doesn't matter if someone graduated the Art Academy or never been on any art course. I believe that being an artist is the way of thinking, the way of seeing the world, not an ability to draw a still life (of course with full of respect to the traditional painters - which by the way I am also belong 
So you are a musician! That somehow appears into your work, I think. So you really are a versatile artist

Merci pour le compliment. Concernant ma discipline, si tu parles de photo-manipulation, j'ai beaucoup plus d'estime pour quelqu'un qui part de zéro comme toi que pour quelqu'un qui se contente d'appuyer sur des boutons comme moi (photoshop). Mais si ca a pu te toucher j'en suis ravi

you have great technical skills and your subjects remind me of a lot of things i enjoyed when i was a kid: videogames, card games (magic)...

you're welcome! "Motus Tragicus II: extremus effigies... " is a very interestinv piece with a lot of meaning for me.
To be simple the way i see it, is : a piece of art into a piece of art. The chalk frame is like the delimitation of a picture made with the brain and the blood of the dead character. the theater curtain accentuate for me this point of view. So for me this is an hidden idea in that. Maybe to make art is to destroy before creating something?
This is maybe not your interpretation, but that's why i say there is a lot of meaning in this piece!

oh man thank you, really... your point of view is not so different from mine... yes, I think art is destroy to create, an endless cycle...
tha act I put on scene is a last act, everytime I make a piece of art (art for me) I destroy myself and then I recreate a new self with something else in me...
