No I'm Canadian....and in Canada......but my mom is from Burma. I plan on going there eventually...but its very expensive and dangerous because it's not exactly a stable country.

Oh trust me I know. My boyfriend is Burmese and he is a political refugee. He would have been tortured and killed if he stayed. No good. I am just hoping that what's her name... uh san sun souchi (something like that) takes power. Anyway its not often you see someone... anywhere thats from Burma or at least knows what I am talking about. You should check out the other resident Burmese [link]

Thank you very much. Yes I really like it when I meet people who actually know of Burma and don't immediately categorize it as just another country they had no idea existed. Well that depends on who you think I am...I'm pretty new to the forums there, but I find them to be pretty well moderated so you don't get as much of the useless flame wars that happen on alot of other boards.

I think it was a severe case of bronchitis, but it might have been the flu, im not sure....I never got my flu shot so I don't know. Next year thats gonna change....

Thanks for checking out my gallery, i did the same to yours and was pleasently surprised, you have some cool pictures. I'd say we are both underappreciated...but thats how it goes on DA. The ones with a "following" are the only ones recognized. Oh well though, the only thing we can do is keep posting our work in hopes that maybe someday people will start to appreciate us little guys.

Thanks for the comments on my gallery- and like wise, you've got soem nice shots here as well... been to some really interesting places by the looks of it.
Some of the photos look cropped, i'm curious to see how they'd appear as full frame prints (but that's just how i am)
