There is no evidence that Sarabi is deceased or alive. Because Madge Sinclair passed away, out of respect Disney producers decided not to recast for a new VA. Also, Sarabi was only a minor character in the movie. Even though she was the wife of Mufasa and mother of Simba the future king. Some fans claim she might have been the lioness in SP who spoke to Kiara or that it was Sarafina mother of Nala (there is no evidence that's true) Personally, I think she's a 'queen of the past now.'

That is not a reliable source for official information. Lots of websites have been posting articles like that to get visits to their sites. Also, that is old information, there have been further updates since then. Jason Marsden said if Kovu does make an appearance he will be voiced by another actor. Kovu is not dead either.

Two VA's have said that TLG will take place after SP, so she would be an adult if that's true. But it's still not been officially stated.

Possibly, and I hope so. When a fan asked for info about the TLG the VA of Kiara said "she can't tell, it's top secret."

So we just have to wait for next month. Unless, any more info will be released in the meantime.
