I'm sure you can guess what this comment is about, so if you've had enough, I understand really.
I've been reading comments lately and found that lemons have been reported alot from the Hetalia fandom.
I've also been reading YOUR comments and I know that fandom doesn't matter to you, but...
Maybe drop them a note before you report them?
I know for a fact that not everyone here had read the FAQ, so maybe link them to that so they can credit the rightful owner, or put a disclaimer at the least.
I've already read the FAQ's you've been linking, and I think what people have been doing have been fine...disclaimer wise, that is.
I understand the permission part, but not everyone can obtain that permission. I remember reading that you can do some research at the very least to find out who is belongs to...
I dunno. I get the feeling I'm only getting half the story.
Sorry if I'm annoying, and I understand if you just delete this from your inbox and move on. Not like I don't do that.
Anyway, good luck handling the trolls who don't know what compromise is...not saying that's everyone, but from the comments I've seen, there's a fair amount.

...i don't mean to be a bad person..but why do you enjoy reporting other people's lemons? its true that they did something wrong, maybe they didn't credit the picture or something like that, but its a bit harsh, is it not?
they pour their heart and soul into it...i mean, how would YOU feel if you finally finished your artwork and posted it up, just for it to be teared down and reported, maybe even deleted.
why don't we all just focus on our own artwork and go out own ways? focus on our own things?

i don't care what the subject material is, if the person submitting something to deviantart does not have permission to use someone else's artwork it will be reported.this includes lemon preview images. they are required to create everything they submit. it would be like stealing a book cover because you got too lazy after writing the book, it is still not an excuse for doing so.

Actually, you're technically required to create everything you're submitting to deviantart. Crediting is not permission to use someone else's work.

The only people I target are people that submit work that is not theirs, I do not have anything against any genre of art, be it lemons, hentalia fans, or anyone else.

I do not know who did what. I do not keep track of people I have reported, if they had deviations removed a moderator had to have looked at it. That being said, I know they have made mistakes in the past.

Please stop reporting people's deviations. We put hard work into those, and for you to report them hes hurt many of us. We put hard work into those stories, and you should work on reporting deviants that steal art, not make their own. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean you have to take it all down. I don't like Homestuck, but I never report anything about Homestuck. Ever. And if it's about the pictures, just leave a friendly comment or note saying to please give credit to the artist. So please, apologize to the Lemon-writing community and don't report any more deviations. I will give you 1 week to do so before I report you, and I get all of my friends to as well.

I do not target anyone nor any genre here on deviantart as long as you are creating what you submit. If you are using artwork that is not yours, and you ignore changing it I will report the work.
Using a image you find online or a screenshot and linking to 'credit' them is not acceptable, it's the same as stealing a book cover and using it for your work.

You don't even know 100% that she did this. If she did do this. If she did then she should go up and apologize to everyone. I understand that I would be mad at the person who reported. I just don't agree that everyone should bomb her inbox calling her a "cunt" and what not over lemons. If she did do it people should still not come here and throw out their frustrations at her. There are many other places and ways to get reader insert lemon so if it reported and removed there is always another place to put the piece and people can still access it. Acting like it is forever gone is just silly, if the writer didn't save it and its only place was here I am sure there are other ways to get it back. Like remembering it and I'm sure some have downloaded it.

Well then thats an even better reason. I know this was brought up earlier. Artists need to be properly credited or should just make their own or none at all. I know pictures are spread around a lot so it will be hard to find but some place like tumblr actually do credit them.

Instead of spending so much time reporting other people's deviations do something preductive like making more art of your own. I know you say it's because they are using copyrighted images but so are you. Your peice titled "Ding" is ripping off the Mac logo, which is copyrighted, but I'm not going to waste my time reporting you. I'm sure you have better things you can do with your time so please do the rest of DA a favor and find a better outlet for your free time.

Ding uses a copyrighted logo as a tribue however was created from scratch using no outside material thus as no source work being used, no permission is needed. 100% created by me and covered by fan art

So far I have not seen a single lemon with invalid permission to use a picture for any profit of any sort. In your own account you use images that don't necessarily belong to you and explain that they are "ok". No where in the FAQ's have I read about prove you got permission. If you really need to report "rule breakers", then why don't you take some time to look for actual art thieves instead of reporting off simple lemons. Also, I thought that people who were doing the "right thing" would have better language than "GET THE FUCK OUT." wouldn't you agree?

Then you are either brand new to deviantart, or you are full of it. If someone had their deviations removed it is because deviantart found their submissions to be violating the terms of services. Any reported deviations is reviewed by a moderator and can be reversed if they can prove they had the right to post such material.

Also I was wonder, who gave you the authority to report deviations? Is it your job? Did you say the deviates to fix their mistake and take time to get a response from them? Were you being patient and fair about your decisions? Did you look into what you can do before you report? And did you ever look at the report on the things you favorited?

I feel like you keep avoiding all my questions. I would really appreciate it if you would answer them properly instead of going around them. First off, why are you reporting simple violations instead of major rule breakers? There are many art thieves that are trying to take advantage of the art the isn't theirs. Secondly, why do you get so defensive that you have to start using bad language?! I know you're trying to do the right thing but I don't think cussing will get you in a better situation then you're in now. Thirdly, why aren't you just asking the deviants, that are using unauthorized material or pictures, to just fix the problem? I really think that asking them first would be a better choice. And if they don't want to change it, then it would be a good time to report them, don't you think?

Read the Desc. in the story's/fanfics people write, THEY GAVE CREDIT TO THE ARTISTS!!
I'm sick and tired of people like you ruining dA. Think about it, think about how HARD those people worked on those story's! Then you go and report them! THEN they have to take them down!
Please do not report them anymore, it is not your business what they write, or what preview picture they use!
